Today we go further afield to locate more Somali arid region species; we shall be bird finding species like Somali- bee-eater, Pink-breasted Lark and with a lot of luck the William’s Lark. In the afternoon we visit a traditional Samburu village. The Samburu are closely related to the Maasai but they have absorbed a lot of custom and traditions of the Northern Kenya tribes. We shall be entertained by special dances to welcome visitors by the warriors and womenfolk and afterwards an informal lecture on the customs and traditions of the tribe. Later on we can visit there homestead and also observe them making there famous beadworks which can be easily purchased from the community self help group. Overnight Samburu.
